Partnering with volunteer mentors, artisans, churches and local organizations, we host a month long stay camp for students ages 6-15 during the summer offering various creative art subjects taught by highly talented and trained instructors.
Come Alive aims to address social isolation and opportunity gaps that oppress under resourced families and their students using creative art experiences to create create a community of support and inspiration, imparting a positive view of personal future for each student.
Come Alive collaborates with local churches whose facilities host summer camps. Volunteer mentors and artisans are recruited from the local community and through the church partners to create part of an ongoing support network for participating camp families to access. Additional support programs are also offered through partnering organizations and churches, some of which include support and recovery groups, counseling services, small groups, youth and children's programs as well as parenting classes.
