Come Alive is made possible by volunteers. You can volunteer in a number of ways. 

Serve at one of our summer camps mentoring youth and children. Host a fundraiser or help out at one of ours. Assist during the year as we prepare for our summer programs. Promote us on social media and help us connect with other awesome artisans and volunteers.

Invest Your Talent

Share your gifts and talents with the next generation. Partner with Come Alive to teach one of our creative art subjects. Our camps are four weeks long. Instructors commit to teach one day per week.

We like to offer our students a wide array of creative outlets. Past subjects have included guitar, song writing, cooking, gardening, dance, ceramics, science and watercolor painting.

Invest Your treasure 

All past instructors and mentors have generously donated their time, energy and artistry to bring creative expression to the inner city of Long Beach. Volunteer run programs have allowed for camp registrations to remain very low-cost to families, making it affordable to attend.

However, Come Alive wants to create paid positions for contributing artisans and continue raising additional funds for class supplies as well as scholarships for students whose families cannot afford the $25/month registration fee per child. Help us continue making these art camps great and accessible by considering supporting financially.
